The polar bear is larger than most bears. It prefers to eat meat, and it has sharp teeth. On land, the polar bear hunts mountain hares and arctic foxes, but the majority of its grey is found in the water. The polar bear does't mind the cold water at all because its fur is like a nutural wet suit. The outer layer of fur repels water, keeping the inner layer and skin dry. Actually, the polar bear's fur is so warm that the difference in temperature between its skin and the air can be as high as 69 degrees Celsius.
